Third 4DSpace Numerical Workshop

In the September students from Kobe University arrived in Oslo to study the interaction between the spacecraft and plasma together with students from UiO.

In the second week of September we had a successful Third 4DSpace Numerical Workshop. Master students from Kobe University arrived in Oslo to study the interaction between the spacecraft and ionospheric plasma together with students from UiO. The intensive week of lectures and simulations on a supercomputer led to very interesting results and scientific presentations.

The workshop has been organized jointly by the University of Oslo and Kobe University, and was the part of the Japan-Norway Partnership Programme. Together 11 students, and 5 lecturers from both Japan and Norway have participated in the Third 4DSpace Numerical Workshop. For more details on this partnership programme and to check other opportunities see the website:  http://www.mn.uio.no/4dspace/education/04_japan-norway.html

The Japan-Norway Partnership Programme is supported by the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education in cooperation with the Research Council of Norway.
