ICI-5 rocket meeting at Andøya

We meet at Andøya Space Center to discuss the technical details and challenges of our next ICI-5 rocket. The ICI-5 rocket is planned to be launched from Svalbard in 2016. We also visit the launch facility for the ICI-4 rocket and check the ICI-4 rocket payload itself, which is to be launched this year.

June 10-11 we traveled to Andøya to discuss the technical details and challenges related to our next rocket: ICI-5. The ICI-5 rocket is planned to be launched from Svalbard in winter 2016. The new approach and related technical challenges make it necessary to start detailed planning already now. These were very intense and successful days at Andøya Space Center.

During our stay, we also visited the launch facility for the ICI-4 rocket and checked the ICI-4 rocket payload itself. The ICI-4 rocket is to be launched later this year to study dynamic phenomena in the polar ionosphere.
