At this meeting all students at the Department of Physics at UiO have voting rights and can present themselves as candidates. At the general meeting we will only elect members, the specific positions will be chosen at the consecutive meeting after the general meeting.
As a member of FFU you have the opportunity to affect the everyday student environment at the Department of Physics, and use Lille Fysiske Lesesal (Lillefy). We'd like motivated students who want to do something for the student- and professional environment at UiO. The purpose of FFU is to safeguard and promote the interests of the students at the Department of Physics in accordance with the management of the Department, the faculty and the University in Oslo as a whole. The union (FFU) is a student organization by students, and for students at the Department of Physics.
At this general meeting we will elect at least 6 other members of the student union and 2 representatives to the program council for Computational Science master. The various positions are, as mentioned before, chosen at the constitutive meeting after the general meeting. Statuette changes
We have gotten a proposal of statuette changes. The proposal is to add to paragraph §5.4 that two seats in the union is reserved for first year students, one seat is reserved for ELITE-students and that one seat is reserved for master students.
