Lund, Sweden, will soon host two of the most advanced particle accelerators for photon and neutron science, MAX IV - an electron synchrotron, and the European Spallation Source - a high power proton linac. This double seminar (25 + 25 min) will give an overview of both facilities, covering the complementarity of the two facilities as well as the accelerator science challenges. The seminar is suited for students as well as staff.

ProFag er etterutdanning for lærere i PROgrammering for FAGenes skyld. Fagene er biologi, kjemi, fysikk og matematikk. Tittelen signaliserer at vi setter faget i sentrum. Programmeringen skal bidra til styrking og utvikling av realfagene. 

Samling nummer 2 vil legge vekt på numeriske metoder. Vi ser nærmere på hvordan programmering kan bidra til dybdelæring i fagene og hvordan en utvidet verktøykasse kan endre selve innholdet i skolens realfag. Vi vil legge vekt på didaktiske utfordringer i overgangen fra dagens skolefag til en mer numerisk tilnærming med vekt på algoritmisk tenkning.
