Faglige interesser

Jeg jobber hovedsakelig med problemstillinger i grenseland mellom fysikk og geologi, og spesielt samspillet mellom bergarter og fluider tilgjengelig ved jordens overflate. Særlig interesserer jeg meg for:

  • CO2-lagring i ultramafiske bergarter
  • Gasshydraters stabilitet og oppløsning
  • Serpentinisering
  • Kjemisk og mekanisk forvitring av bergarter
  • Volumendrende prosesser i bergarter
  • Sprekkdannelser i stein
  • Koblingen mellom sprekkdannelser og transport av reaktive fluider i sprekker
  • Oppsprekking drevet av is
  • Numeriske verktøy til å studere oppsprekkingsprosesser
