We would like to build up our competence and tools for high precision time measurements and see a possibility for a student to be a part of this. We have several circuits where timing related to signal hits, clocks etc are of high importance. The SIPHRA and APOCAT circuits are multichannel radiation circuits where precise measuring of trigger delay, trigger jitter and signal time over threshold are interesting. We are also part of a EU funded project where multiple layers of transistors are realized. In this technology we have implemented a TDC (time to digital converter) that we also would like to have characterized.
