Low power band gap voltage reference circuit

Image sensors (as most circuits) need a stable band gap reference for reference voltages and bias currents.

Concept of a bandgap voltage reference that is sampled and only powered for short periods of time controlled by signal 'pon'.

Project tasks:

 Investigate high performance bandgap voltage generator with ~mW of active power, and ~nW average power. Components may include:
»Normal band gap with sampled output.
»Low leakage sampling switch, very long duty cycle.
»Challenging because image sensors operate in a wide temperature range.
 
Design and develop a band gap circuit with dynamic power off, short start-up time and low leakage sampling switches on output.
