Team of authors from LATICE, GEco and NIBIO have a new paper published in one of the open-access EGU journals – Biogeosciences. In the paper named Improving the representation of high-latitude vegetation distribution in dynamic global vegetation models the authors evaluated the performance of three methods for representing vegetation cover.
A 2-year postdoctoral researcher position in land surface modeling is available at NORCE Norwegian Research Centre AS, Climate, in Bergen, Norway. There is a possibility to become a permanent researcher after the 2-yr postdoc period. The main focus of the work will be to improve our understandings on climate change interaction between land surface, particularly high latitude ecosystems, using the coupled framework of the state-of-the-art Norwegian Earth System Model (NorESM).
The Norwegian Hydrological Council, in collaboration with EMERALD, welcome you to attend the 6th Conference on Modelling Hydrology, Climate and Land Surface Processes, September 14.–16, 2021, Lillehammer, Norway.
