"Excellence in refereeing Award 2014" to Olivier Galland

Researcher Olivier Galland from Department of Geosciences received recently an "Excellence in refereeing Award 2014" from American Geophysical Union (AGU), for his contribution in peer review work  for Journal of Geophysical Research, Solid Earth.

Excellence in refereeing Award 2014

Olivier Galland from GEO Physics of Geological processes, Department of Geosciences has contributed to peer review for articles for the American Geophysical Union (AGU). Recently he got an award for the contribution for the Journal of Geophysical Research; Solid Earth for 2014.

The Excellence in refereeing Award is given to those who contribute in the peer review process for AGU for good work, and consistently providing constructive and thoughtful reviews.

Several others got awards for their work in in different AGU-journals for 2014. The awards are appointed after recommendations from the editors of the journals.

AGU write in an article that peer review is an important pillar in their work, and want with the Editors' Citations for Excellence in Refereeing award contribute that the peer review work is more recognized.
