The Ivar Giæver Geomagnetic Laboratory (IGGL)
The Ivar Giæver Geomagnetic Laboratory (IGGL) is a Norwegian national infrastructure for research in geomagnetism hosted by the CEED - Centre of Earth Evolution and Dynamics and run in partnership with NTNU, the University of Bergen and the Geological Survey of Norway.
The mission of the IGGL is to serve the Norwegian and international geomagnetic community by providing access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, technical assistance and scientific expertise for research in a wide variety of topics relevant to studies in paleomagnetism, rock and mineral magnetism, and other related interdisciplinary fields.
The IGGL infrastructure gets financial support from the Research Council of Norway
