Measurement of climate gas emissions from ruminants using drones

Drone technology and drones from the DroneLab@UiO are used in the research project (CircAgric-GHG) on measurement of greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture.

Video: Presentation of drones that will be used to measure climate gas emissions from ruminants

See this short video where Norbert Pirk, Researcher at Department of Geosciences, UiO, presents how the drones are used in the research:

In the video Pirk demonstrates which drones from the DroneLab@UiO which are planned to be used in CircAgric-GHG project. The project will use various remote sensing technologies to detect CH4 and CO2 fluxes from landscapes and kettle.

See the webpage for more information about the project: https://www.circagric.org/
