Goldschmidt Lab`s two access modes

The facilities at the Goldschmidt Lab are accessible under two access modes:

  • Physical access (hands-on), which requires a user to visit the Goldschmidt Lab facility where the equipment is located.
  • Remote service (send-in-sample), which requires samples to be sent for analysis to the facility where it is analysed by an operator.

In both cases, processing of data will be possible at any time after the analytical session, either with open access software or with remote access to PCs located at the facilities, through Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI) platforms developed by the University of Oslo.
