A LATICE Christmas event will be held on 7 December 2022 at 16:00 in Auditorium 2 and Mellomrommet in the Geology Building. The aim of this gathering is to update each other on our research activities, and discuss our future work and collaborations in the upcoming New Year. Fittingly to the winter theme and Norwegian Christmas traditions, we will enjoy some pepperkake and gløgg during the meeting.

Speakers and their presentation title are

  • Astrid Vatne: Local forcing dataset for LATICE-MIP sites
  • Clare Webster: Understanding impacts of treeline changes
  • Eva Lieungh: Simplistic grazing in FATES?
  • Kristoffer Aalstad: The Borg collective hive mind
  • Laura Mack: Near-surface turbulence modelling
  • Michael Bekken: An Update from Hisåsen
  • Olga Silantyeva: Quick update on EmeraldMIP and SnowSub
  • Norbert Pirk: Mobileflux-2
  • Peter Horvath: Nature-type mapping at Tolga and Hisåsen
  • Yeliz Yilmaz: Input data for modeling on the LATICE-MIP sites
We wish everyone a good winter holiday.
