Drainage of Gorner Lake on August 23, 1900. 6 Mio m³ water was released with a peak discharge of 150 m³/s. One bridge was washed away and some agricultural land was flooded.

Remarks

 

At the confluence of Gorner and Grenz glacier a marginal glacier lake builts every year. For this lakes outbursts occured every year.
