Event description
On July 2, 1968 an outburst of glacier
lake 3 took place. The initial volume was estimated at 170`000 m3.
On its way down the debris flow took 400`000 m3 of moraine material

Remarks
Other outbursts took place in 1921, 1924, 1868, 1968
and 1970. To manage the hazard several constructions were launched.
