Norwegian IPY-Thorpex

IPY-Thorpex Norway is a research project on adverse weather in the north. It is one of the major Norwegian contributions to the International Polar Year.

The overall objective of the project is to improve the accuracy of high-impact weather forecasts in the Arctic region for the benefit of society, the economy and the environment.
