NCCS; Norwegian CCS Research Centre, is an FME (Centre for Environment Friendly Energy Research), hosted by SINTEF.
The project work in NCCS consists of 12 tasks, each addressing an important aspect of capture, transport or storage: the constituents of the CO2 value chain.
- The Department of Geosciences at the University of Oslo is responsible for Task 9 – structural de-risking, in association with NGI.
- The University in Oslo is also responsible for Task 1 – CCS Value Chain and legal aspects, in association with Scandinavian Institute for maritime law.
