Student computer rooms

• Geologibygget

  • Room 007: 10 windows machines with dual screens. This room is also used for teaching.
  • Room 209: 24 windows machines with single screens. This room is also used for teaching.
  • The ZEB building: 8 windows machines, 2 linux machines, printer.

• MetOs (Kristine Bonnevies Hus)

  • All Master's students receive a place with a Linux machine.

Linux servers

• mimi.uio.no and wessel.uio.no has meteorological, oceanographic, geological, hydrological and geographical software. See Computing Resources.
