The DISKOS Database was initialized and developed by the Norwegian Offshore Directorate (www.nod.no) and some of the hydrocarbon companies active on the shelf in 1992. The database now contains close to 16 PB of data including seismic (pre-stack, post-stack, field and velocity), well, production and trade data of the NOCS. The department has free access to all released seismic and well data in the database. The database for subsurface data (seismic, well and production data) is currently operated by Landmark.

If you need data from the NOCS, please contact drift@geo.uio.no. If you are a Master-student provide confirmation from your supervisor.
