South Spain involves active tectonic and high seismicity along several major normal faults both in Granada and Gaudix-Baza basins. There are also many examples of soft sediment deformations such as seismicity.
Both faults and soft sediment deformations could be studied further to find more about the seismic events (earthquakes) in the area. This will be performed by fieldwork and drone imaging. It is expected that the student will be able to drive and participate in the field.
