Rock glaciers are important landforms indicating present and former climate conditions. We have inventories of these landforms both in Norway, Svalbard and Iceland.
To evaluate the distribution pattern of these landforms and their environmental relevance we apply prediction modelling to evaluate the environmental space they exist.
The thesis will do such prediction modelling using special types of regression analysis, and discuss the outcome in relation to former and future climate conditions,"
