Dr. Jessica Ann McBeck, University of Oslo is this year`s winner of the Else-Ragnhild Neumann Award for Women in Geosciences 2022. McBeck was recognized at a CEED-symposium, 7.12.2022.
European Geosciences Union (EGU) har nylig offentliggjort mottakerne av medaljer og priser for 2023. To forskere fra Universitetet i Oslo, Institutt for geofag står på listen.

Det franske ekteparet Krafft levde og døde for en dypere forståelse av vulkanenes mysterier. Dokumentaren Fire of Love beskriver deres liv og arbeid. På filmvisningen 1. sept. på Oslo Pix var Olivier Galland, forsker ved Institutt for geofag invitert til å introdusere filmen for publikum.
