Hylleraas Seminar, Andre Laestadius

Hylleraas Friday seminar, hosted in Oslo

Speaker: Andre Laestadius

Title: Density-Wavefunction Mapping in Degenerate Current-Density-Functional Theory

Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss the complications that arise in current-density-functional theory due to degeneracy as far as a "weak" Hohenberg-Kohn result is concerned. In particular, I will show that the particle density and the paramagnetic current density are not sufficient to determine the set of degenerate ground-state wave functions.

The Hylleraas seminars alternate between Oslo (room V205) and Tromsø (room C302), and are broadcasted by video conference to the other place. It is possible to follow the seminars externally upon request.
