Title: Hybrid particle-field model for DNA
Abstract: The work I will present is the results of a ongoing collaboration with Morten Ledum and Michele Cascella, and is on a new coarse grained model for DNA. In the talk I will cover some of the main features of DNA, our coarse grained model for DNA and how we parametrize the model. Finally, I will present some of the latest applications of the model, aiming at showing the current status of the project.
