Title: Investigation of Lmo0818, a putative Listeria monocytogenes Ca2+-ATPase crystallised in a ”truly” E2-P state via Molecular Dynamics simulations
Abstract: Collaborators have resolved the 3D structure of the protein Lmo0818, a putative Ca2+ - ATPase from Listeria monocytogenes via X-ray crystallography. In the crystal, it is folded in a conformation very similar to the famous Sarco/endoplasmic reticulum Ca2+-ATPase (SERCA) in a E2-P state. Using SERCA as reference, we investigate the function of Lmo0818 with the help of MD simulations. In this talk I will introduce the project and present our latest results.
The Hylleraas seminars alternate between Oslo (room V211) and Tromsø (room C302), and are broadcasted by video conference to the other place. It is possible to follow the seminars externally upon request.
