Title: Length and velocity gauges in electronic circular dichroism
Abstract: I will explore the length and velocity gauges and electric dipole matrix element forms in electronic circular dichroism spectroscopy. I will focus on the X-ray spectral region which is more sensitive on the choice of basis set, gauge, and relativistic effects than the valence region. Note: the seminar’s topic does not overlap with my NKS talk.
