Title: Periodic traveling waves on water of finite depth
Abstract: We consider periodic steady surface waves on water of finite depth, like those that one can see in the ocean or in a channel. It turns out that the wave profile can be described by the so-called Babenko’s equation. We demonstrate how one can numerically construct its solutions by bifurcating from the trivial solutions (corresponding to the flat surface).
