The 16th ICQC in Menton a great success

We congratulate Hylleraas member Odile Eisenstein on the very successful organization of ICQC; the largest quantum-chemistry conference in 2018.

The 16th International Congress of Quantum Chemistry (ICQC) was held in Menton, France June 18–23, 2018. The ICQC is amongst the largest international congress series in the field of quantum chemistry, and has been held every three years under the auspices of the International Academy of Quantum Molecular Science (IAQMS) since 1973.

Organising a congress with 500 participants and 49 invited speakers is no small task — but this did not deter Hylleraas member Odile Eisenstein. Odile was supported by a local organising committee from the Institute Charles Gerhardt of University of Montpellier consisting of 16 members and by an international scientific board consisting of 20 members of the IAQMS.

We congratulate Odile on a very successful enterprise!
