Dr. Kadek defended his PhD thesis at the University of Tromsø - The Arctic University of Norway on August 28 2018. In his thesis, he presented new methods for studying electron dynamics at the relativistic four-component level of theory when molecules are exposed to external electromagnetic fields. He also presented a new all-electron, four-component relativistic density-functional theory with periodic boundary conditions in 1, 2 and 3 dimensions.

A popular science presentation of his thesis (in Norwegian) can be found here, and his complete PhD thesis can be downloaded from the Munin research archive of UiT The Arctic University of Norway.
