40 members of the Hylleraas Centre for Quantum Molecular Sciences gathered in Haraldvollen at Bardufoss in inner Tromsø for three days of joint activities. In contrast to many of the earlier meetings where scientific presentations were the focus, the program this time focused on joint activities within research themes and across the two nodes of the centre.
After a presentation of the vision for the Hylleraas Centre by centre director Trygve Helgaker, the different principal activities gave a status update for each research theme and their views on the road ahead. This was followed by group work by the hired PhD students and postdocs in each RT on how they thought the RTs should develop and best build on the joint expertise of the Hylleraas members.
In addition to the scientific program, there were also more social activities, including a hike to Øverli overlooking Bardufoss and a "Puzzled Pint Quiz" organised by Karen Dundas, Marius Kadek and Lukas Konecny.
The main organiser of the event was Hylleraas researcher Bin Gao.
