The Oslo Conference Ambassador network "consists of key figures within various academic and research communities in Oslo, who want to highlight their field of research internationally by hosting a conference", and is organized by Oslo Convention Bureau.
Trygve, Jan Ingar and Simen were appointed to the ambassador role for attracting the WATOC conference to Oslo, and were awarded a diploma by the mayor of Oslo, Marianne Borgen, at a ceremony in Grand Hotel 28 March. WATOC will be held in Oslo 22-27 June 2025, and is expected to host between 1000 and 1400 participants.
