On Thursday February 17, 2022, Hylleraas PI Prof. Thomas Bondo Pedersen presented fully quantum-mechanical electron-nuclear dynamics simulations of the orientation of the HD molecule along the polarization direction of a few-cycles laser pulse. The simulations were carried out within the interdisciplinary CAS project “Attosecond Quantum Dynamics Beyond the Born-Oppenheimer Approximation” led by Hylleraas member Researcher Simen Kvaal and Pedersen.
