Shortly before Christmas, Res. Prof. David Balcells, PI in RT7, presented an invited talk at the Conference on Statistics and Data Science organized by the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS-ICSDS) in Lisbon, Portugal, with the title "Synthetic Data in Chemistry: Deterministic, Evolutionary, and Generative". This closed a hectic year in which David also presented invited contributions about the machine learning research of the Center in these four other international events:
