Prof. Adamowicz from the University of Arizona, USA, is a world-leading expert on non-Born-Oppenheimer quantum chemistry. He collaborates with Thomas Bondo Pedersen and Simen Kvaal on laser-induced molecular quantum dynamics without the Born-Oppenheimer approximation and on the quantum definition of molecular structure deduced from the wave function alone.

Time of visit:

  • March 1– April 14 2024 at office V218 at Hylleraas Centre
  • May 13– June 21, 2024 at office V232 at Hylleraas Centre.

Fundig

The visit is financed by the CAS project “Attosecond quantum dynamics beyond the Born-Oppenheimer approximation” led by Kvaal and Pedersen.
