Workshop on New Developments in Coupled-Cluster Theory

Special attention was paid to the major computational and theoretical challenges associated with laser-induced ionization processes and high-harmonic generation.

The presentation summarized work done at Hylleraas over the past 5-6 years on time-dependent coupled-cluster theory and its application to phenomena in attosecond science. Special attention was paid to the major computational and theoretical challenges associated with laser-induced ionization processes and high-harmonic generation.

The research efforts highlighted in the presentation were carried out by current and former Hylleraas members Thomas Bondo Pedersen, Simen Kvaal, Håkon Emil Kristiansen, Einar Aurbakken, Simon Elias Schrader, Tilmann Bodenstein, Benedicte Sverdrup Ofstad, Øyvind Sigmundson Schøyen, and Eirill Strand Hauge in collaboration with several international partners.

The workshop was held on July 29 to August 2, 2024, at the Telluride Science and Innovation Center in Telluride CO, USA.
