This Monday I departed to Tromsø, where I will be working at NILU (Norwegian Institute for Air Research). Over the next few weeks I will be carrying out chemical analyses on the samples I collected during Svalbard summer in 2016.
My samples went into an ice box and travelled in a subway, train, plane and bus to reach their final destination. I received a lot of stares as I lugged around a bright, big, blue, plastic box all in the name of science.
NILU is located in the Fram Centre – High North Research Centre for Climate and the Environment. More updates to come over the coming weeks!
