Blindeforbundet awards Ida Aasebø's MROS project 104 000 NOK

Ida E.J. Aasebø, a PhD student at CINPLA, has been awarded 104 000 NOK of additional funding by Blindeforbundet (Norwegian Society for the Blind).

During her PhD work on visual processing in the awake and anesthetized rat, Ida discovered a new subset of neurons - Movement Resistant Orientation Selective (MROS) cells. This additional funding has been allocated to further her work on MROS cells.
