We are excited to announce two special seminars in the BMB-FYSCELL Seminar Series on June 26th. Prof. Tobias Lenzfrom the Institute of Cell and Systems Biology of Animals, University of Hamburg, Germany, will deliver a talk titled "An Evolutionary Genetics Perspective on Functional MHC Variability", where he will explore the genetic and genomic properties of the MHC region and its role in adaptive immunity.
In addition, Assist. Prof. Ilana Berlin from the Department of Cell and Chemical Biology, Leiden University Medical Center, NL, will present on "Spatiotemporal Integration of ER and Endolysosomal Responses to Proteotoxic Stress." Her talk will delve into the mechanisms of organelle compartmentalization and their impact on cellular stress responses and protein quality control.
