GCN2 in cancer: novel functions predicted from analysis of transcriptome data of cervical cancer patients

Sex differences in vital rates and mate availability can have important effects on population- and evolutionary dynamics. These effects and how they vary depending on mating strategies can be explored with extensions to traditional matrix models.

We will discuss tests for positive selection and evolutionary processes involved in host specificity in insect pathogens in the recent study of Kobmoo et al.

The method search for statistically significant associations between a phenotype and the genotype at all loci in a genetic dataset. treeWAS has the advantage to control for the confounding effects of clonal population structure and population stratification.
