Passwords^12

Passwords^12 is held at IfI during 3-5 December 2012. This is the only conference of its kind in the world, focusing ONLY on passwords and PIN codes in all forms, shapes and sizes.

Time and place: Dec. 3, 2012 – Dec. 5, 2012, Department of informatics, Ole-Johan Dahls building

Anything from secure creation, storing, distribution and resetting to stealing, cracking and criminal exploitation of passwords is on the agenda. The conference is organized by password guru Per Thorsheim, in cooperation with Professor Audun Jøsang of the University of Oslo. The main conference sponsor is FRISC (Forum for Research and Innovation in Security and Communications), the national information security research network funded by the Norwegian Research Council.
