About the project
The goal of the project is the development of new solutions for next generation multimedia distribution infrastructures that minimize response times, resource requirements, and costs, and that are well suited for large scale systems, in terms of regional coverage and amounts of data. The solutions shall be applicable for application with low interactivity, like Video-on-Demand (VoD), and especially for applications with a high degree of interactivity, like distributed Lecture-on-Demand or distributed games.
