In extremely asymmetric network conditions, or when the uplink is overloaded with other traffic, it may be beneficial to reduce the rate at which TCP ACKs are sent. Such a scheme, ACK-CC, is specified in this draft. The goal of this master thesis is to implement ACK-CC in Linux or BSD, and evaluate it.
