Mobile-Renewable Energy Storage System Laboratory (M-RESY)

M-RESY is a small-scale laboratory infrastructure located at ITS (Kjeller Campus) that serves as a platform for research and educational purposes. The laboratory offers open access for material fabrication, characterization and collaborative research to all students and scientists at the University of Oslo as well as to the broader research community in Norway/the EU, industry and start-up professionals.

About the project

The laboratory is equipped with a wide range of instruments that allow for synthesis and characterization of materials and materials-based components for energy generation, conversion and storage. The key research activities at M-RESY address the effect of the material upscaling on the overall performance of the energy generation, conversion and storage processes, with the particular focus on the renewable energy systems with hydrogen-based solutions.
