Situational awareness for autonomous robotic systems - a talk by Trym Vegard Haavardsholm

Autonomous field robots require rich situational awareness based on their own sensor observations to operate robustly and to solve more than trivial tasks.

Trym Vegard Haavardsholm will give a talk on how autonomous systems can perceive the world from sensor measurements relative to themselves, and how they can combine relative measurements across sensors, platforms and time to enrich their perception and build confidence in their situational awareness.

The talk is open for the public. Snacks and drinks will be served.
