Section for Energy Systems

The primary mission of the section is to perform research that will empower the society for sustainable development through energy systems, in particular addressing the targets defined in the SDG 7 (affordable and clean energy) of the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals. 

In order to contribute to these targets, the section conducts research addressing the challenges related to: Energy systems modelling; Energy conversion and storage for renewable-energy-based systems; Sensors and energy control systems; Digitalisation, security and safety of energy systems.
