About Kjemi Grand Prix
Chemistry Grand Prix is an internal event for the Department of Chemistry. The goal is to inform each other and the students at the department about the research going on in the different sections. The event is organised as an out reach competition. The winner is decided by the votes from the audience and an external jury consisting of up to six persons.
The participants are judged on their ability to give popular scientific presentations in four minutes. The participants choose wether they will give the speech in Norwegian og English.
The participants will improve their out reach skills and the audience will learn more about the research going on - a win win situation.
The presentations will be broadcasted on social media/web pages.
The head of the sections will nominate the participants, and each of our seven research sections can nominate at least one, maximum two, participants.
The participants can be master students, PhD students, or young researchers (not more than two years after the PhD degree). If you wish to participate let your section leader know.
