There are currently five research groups at the University of Oslo working with structural biology:
Krengel Group
The group of Ute Krengel is interested in studying the molecular structures of proteins of medical importance, with special interest in protein-carbohydrate interactions and enzymes.
Sekulic Group
Structural studies of chromatin. Combines protein crystallography, cryo-EM and HDX-MS.
Dalhus Group
Interest in enzymes involved in DNA repair, with focus on excision repair and DNA glycosylases.
Hersleth group
Interest in understanding the structure and function of redox protein systems by combining protein crystallography and spectroscopic techniques.
Lund Group
Studies molecular interactions of lipid membranes with peptides and drug-molecules by scattering methods.
