Fifth Nafuma Seminar, Autumn 2017

The Fifth NAFUMA seminar will be presented by the PhD student Amund Ruud.

Amund's research goal is developing new and better battery materials for solving today's environmental challenges. Within the NAFUMA group, Amund works on the development of both new solid electrolytes and electrode materials in lithium ion batteries. Central to this are the synthesis (atomic deposition of lithium-containing films and hydrotermal synthesis (nanoparticles) and the characterization (X-ray characterization techniques, electrochemical and in situ synchrotron-based measurements) of new materials with the aim of making today's technology better.

The title of his talk is:

"Bismuth vanadate and molybdate as high capacity anodes for lithium ion batteries"

 Looking forward to it!
