Linked to the PhD defense of Fabian Leonardo Martinez Bernal (Friday, October 6th), the NAFUMA group is organizing a very inspiring seminar on

"Inorganic materials - theoretical and experimental approaches"

Several group members working on various topics will present their last achievements for an intense discussion time!

  • Prof. J. Paul Attfield, from the Centre for Science at Extreme conditions, University of Edinburgh (UK).
  • Prof. Eva Pavarini, from the Institute for Theoretical Nanoelectronics (PGI-2) and Institute for Advanced Simulations (IAS-3), Forschungszentrum Jülich Institute (DE).

will inspire us with their talks entitled “New Orders in Simple Solids” and "Origin of Orbital Ordering in Correlated Systems" , respectively.
