Summer activity in ZeoMorph

Even though the ZeoMorph project is in its last year, there will be substantial conference activities.

Stian will present ZeoMorph results in two lectures at both the Europacat 2017 in Floreence and at the FEZA meeting in Sofia. The 7th International FEZA Conference is organized by Bulgarian Zeolite Association under the auspices of the Federation of European Zeolite Associations – FEZA. The conference will be held in the period July 3-7, 2017, in the National Palace of Culture in Sofia.

Andrea will give a short oral presentation at Europacat. The 13th European Congress on Catalysis (EUROPACAT 2017) will be held from August 27 to 31, 2017 in Florence, Italy. EUROPACAT 2017, with the theme of “A bridge to the future”, will feature the crucial roles of catalysis science and technology in enabling our sustainable future. The meeting, the main biannual event for catalysis in Europe and one of the main worldwide, will offer both the state-of-the-art on catalysis research and, more importantly, a perspective of new trends and opportunities for catalysis in the next decades. The congress will serve as a platform to exchange new ideas and discuss the advances in all areas of catalysis. The congress is built around four pillars: science, catalysis community, relations with companies and society.

Dani has been selected to attend the 67th Lindau Nobel Laureate meeting. Once every year, 30–40 Nobel Laureates convene at Lindau to meet the next generation of leading scientists: 400-500 undergraduates, PhD students, and post-doc researchers from all over the world. The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings foster the exchange among scientists of different generations, cultures, and disciplines. The 67th Lindau Meeting (#LiNo17) will be dedicated to the field of chemistry. So far, 30 Nobel Laureates have confirmed their participation and will meet with 400 international young scientists.
